From the minute I walked into the doors of Emerge Child and Family Counseling I knew this place was different.
Â
I then had the honor of sitting down with this beauty as she shared her story with me.
Everyone give a warm welcome to this weeks: Wednesday Warrior: Jessie Napoli
Jessie is a mom of two, and such a bright light in this community with the biggest smile, heart and personality you'll ever see! She made me feel right at home as she shared her story and mission with me.

She shared that she has always been great with children but where that path would lead her she wasn't quite sure.
Â
Growing up in a dysfunctional family, losing her brother and navigating a divorce of her own Jessie is no stranger to trauma, grief and crisis.
Â
That led her to begin her own healing journey many years ago to help her unpack years of dysfunction, get to the root of her triggers and learn coping skills.
Â
And she is now able to use her education, skills, resources and personal journey of healing and the positives of therapy to help others also do the same.
Â
At Emerge she works with children through play therapy as well as adults. Her main focus is to help those navigating divorce and desiring to learn how to best co parent.
She also advocates for mental health awareness and believes that therapy should be seen as a strength and not as a weakness.

We all go through things and need someone to come alongside us to help us understand how our past has shaped us so that we can develop the tools and resources needed to move into our future and become the best version of ourselves.
